A Productive Two Weeks of Advocacy and Collaboration

A Productive Two Weeks of Advocacy and Collaboration

The last two weeks have been an incredibly busy and productive time for Veterans Servant as we continue to advocate for the needs of veterans in Central Florida. Our efforts have led to several important meetings with local legislators and key community partners, all of whom share our passion for supporting those who have served our country.

Legislative Advocacy: Strengthening Support for Veterans

We were honored to meet with Representative David Smith, Representative Rita Harris, Representative Rachel Plakon, and their teams to discuss critical issues affecting veterans in our region. Their openness and willingness to engage with our mission are encouraging as we work towards securing the resources needed to provide essential services for veterans.

A special thank you goes to Senator Jason Brodeur, who has gone above and beyond by committing to sponsor an appropriations bill. This crucial step will help us secure additional funding to expand our efforts and reach more veterans in need.

Collaboration with the Orange County Veterans Council

We are also thrilled to announce that Veterans Servant is now collaborating with the Orange County Veterans Council. This new partnership marks an exciting opportunity to work alongside other veteran advocates in our community and strengthen the support network available to local veterans.

Looking Ahead

These meetings and partnerships represent significant milestones for Veterans Servant as we continue to grow and expand our impact. We are deeply grateful for the support and collaboration of everyone involved, and we look forward to the positive outcomes these relationships will bring to the veterans we serve.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey so far—we couldn’t do it without you. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress and how you can get involved in making a difference in the lives of our veterans.
